Whether your watch needs a battery, a full overhaul, or measured conservation — we work at a pace that suits the piece, not the calendar.
Crystal & Battery Service
Attentive care for quartz watches and minor cosmetic needs. Fresh battery, clean contacts, polished or replaced crystal, and seal review. Water resistance confirmed where rated. A useful refresh for a daily-wear watch — usually a few days.

Automatic Service
A complete service for automatic watches running fast, slow, or unevenly. Movement cleaned and re-lubricated, balance and escapement inspected, regulated across positions. Gaskets and crown checked. About two to three weeks.

Restoration & Conservation
A measured restoration for older or meaningful watches where preservation matters. Movement overhaul, case and dial conserved respectfully, cosmetic choices made in conversation with you. Original parts kept wherever possible. Documented throughout; six to eight weeks.

Common questions
How do I know what service my watch needs?
We assess the watch when you bring it in and tell you what we find before any work starts. You decide whether to proceed. There is no charge for the initial assessment on straightforward pieces.
How long will a service take?
Crystal and battery work is usually a few days. Automatic servicing takes around two to three weeks. Restoration and conservation pieces typically need six to eight weeks. We give you a firm estimate at the time of drop-off and let you know of any changes.
Can I send my watch by post?
Yes — get in touch before sending and we will advise on safe packing. Watches should be sent fully insured to their replacement value. We return pieces by registered, insured post.
Do you work on all watch brands?
We work across a wide range of Swiss, Japanese, and vintage brands. If there is anything specific about your piece, just ask us before bringing it in.
Are parts sourced new or second-hand?
For standard servicing we use new lubricants and seals. For restoration work, we discuss the parts approach with you — original or new-old-stock is often preferred and we will tell you what is available.
Is my watch insured while in your care?
We handle every watch with care and take full responsibility while it is with us. For high-value pieces, ask us about the arrangements and we can discuss cover options at the time of drop-off.
